Lenka is a psychologist and psychotherapist who provides individual counseling to adult clients. In her private practice, she helps clients on their life journey, in solving difficulties, obstacles, rediscovering self-esteem or contact with themselves. Clients most often deal with anxiety, depression, life losses, personal and family problems, difficult and traumatic life journey. Her working tools are mainly communication, empathy and intuition. She likes to use projective techniques, the Sandtray method (psychotherapeutic method that helps open the non-verbal world), searching for the inner child, imagination (internal images and ideas), relaxation. The EMDR method works with unprocessed memories, their impact and also addresses current symptoms and triggers. Lenka believes that change is always possible and that everyone has a choice in how to deal with their ideas, expectations and desires. She consults in Czech language.
Lenka studied Psychology at the Faculty of Arts in Masaryk University in Brno. She completed psychotherapeutic training in Transactional Systemic Psychotherapy according to Virginia Satir and training in the EMDR method (Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy). She has her own practice since 2015 and continues to learn and develop. Every year she completes professional seminars and workshops, such as: Family Maps and Elements of Family Reconstruction in Therapeutic Practice, Imaginative Techniques, Relaxation Techniques, Play Therapy (Sandtray) in the TSTS Model, Family from the Perspective of TSTS, Psychological First Aid, Intensive Seminar the Path according to Brandon Bays. Lenka is a member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy.
