Lucia Bulková is a psychologist who provides individual consultations and counseling to adult clients. She most often encounters issues of anxiety, fears, panic disorders, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder or depression, burnout syndrome, and other issues in the context of family, work, interpersonal and life difficulties. In addition, she likes topics focused on acquiring social skills, learning constructive communication and criticism, and gaining self-confidence. In her approach to clients, she is empathetic and provides solution-focused approach to the client's problem or difficulty, while in her work she mainly uses techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which are easy to grasp, educational and enabling to change the client's experience, perception or behavior. She also uses techniques based on schema therapy. In her work, she is inspired by the progress of clients when they experience a certain shift or see a path to fulfilling their goal, or they find the given technique useful and can incorporate it into their lives. She provides counseling in Slovak and in German.
Lucia has work experience in the field of psychology since 2017. In 2017-2021 she worked as a psychologist at the AMEOS Psychosomatic Clinic in Simbach am Inn in Germany, and in 2021-2024 as a psychologist at the Crisis Center Dúha and at the Children and Family Center in Zlatovce. Lucia received her Master’s Degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava in 2015. She completed a short-term psychotherapy training in Individual Schema Therapy. She is currently completing her long-term psychotherapy training and certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the ABC Institute. She is also completing her specialization in Clinical Psychology at the Slovak University of Health Sciences in Bratislava and is a member of the Chamber of Psychologists. Lucia completed other courses, conferences and seminars, such as: Transactional Analysis Course, Education in Child Psychodiagnostics, Prevention of Institutional and Systemic Violations of Children's Rights - Working with Minor Perpetrators of Violence, Personality in the Context of Cognition, Emotionality and Motivation III., Suicidality, Child and Therapist, Hand Test, Tree Drawing and is completing a course in the Rorschach Method.
